We all at some point enter the “darkness” and for me this is something I can relate to on a personal level. Given many years of struggling with invisible illnesses and ongoing surgery. I have strived to remain fit. I have battled the frustrations of the “fog” “low energy” “mood changes” “motivating myself” “working through the darkness” “anger that comes from the frustrations” “sometimes feeling like you need to hide in the shadows”
I was ignorant towards the benefits of any kind of therapy. Having now gone through the therapy journey I cannot recommend the importance of firstly simply talking to then learning coping strategies to manage those thoughts and feelings.
